Portable Appliance Testing
The Health & Safety Executive states that 25% of all electrical accidents involve portable appliances. The Electricity at Work Regulations places a legal responsibility on employers and employees to comply with the provisions of the regulations and take reasonable and practicable steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of such equipment. Oakrange provides a regular program of maintenance, inspection and testing.
Our Portable Appliance Testing service includes:
- All equipment with a plug is tested and labelled
- An itinerary of all items tested is provided for future reference
- Minor repairs (plug/fuse replacement) are carried out on site
- All our engineers are independently qualified and certified
